We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Restaurant Cashier to join our team. As the final point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in shaping their dining experience. You will be responsible for warmly greeting customers, accurately taking orders, managing transactions via our POS system, and ensuring that takeout and pickup orders are perfectly packaged and handed off with a smile.

Duties

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):

- Guest Service: Greet guests warmly as they enter, answer menu and pricing questions, and provide a welcoming front-of-house atmosphere.
- Order & Cash Handling: Accurately input customer orders into the POS system and process cash, credit, and mobile payments.
- Quality Control: Coordinate with kitchen staff to manage takeout, delivery, and pickup orders,



verifying accuracy before handing them to guests.
- Financial Accuracy: Open and close out the daily register, balance cash drawers, and handle monetary transactions with precision.
- Station Maintenance: Keep the front counter, register area, and service stations clean, sanitized, organized, and fully stocked.
- Issue Resolution: Handle basic customer complaints or discrepancies gracefully, looping in management when necessary.

Experience

- Prior experience as a cashier or working in the food service/hospitality industry is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person!
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Basic math and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask in busy environments while maintaining organization
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems or a willingness to learn
- Customer service experience that highlights patience, professionalism, and problem-solving skills

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 35.0 per week
