About Us:
We are a new pediatric respirology clinic dedicated to providing specialized, compassionate care to children with respiratory conditions. Position Overview:
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team to cover a maternity leave. This role is ideal for a motivated, and detail-oriented skilled who enjoys working in a pediatric setting. The LPN will play a key role in clinical and administrative functions, including supporting physicians in patient care, performing pulmonary function tests (training can be provided), and front office duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties:

- Assist physicians with patient assessments
- Administer medications, including subcutaneous injections, as directed
- Conduct patient education regarding respiratory conditions, treatments, and device use (e.g., inhalers, spacers)
- Perform pulmonary function testing (training provided)
- Monitor and record vital signs, oxygen saturations, and respiratory status
- Provide non-emergent medical advice directly to patients

Administrative & Front Office Tasks:

- Schedule patient appointments and manage clinic calendar
- Answer phone calls,



triage inquiries, and relay messages to physicians
- Prepare and maintain electronic medical records (EMR) with accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate referrals and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed
- Support smooth daily operations of the clinic

Qualifications:

- Current registration and good standing with the CLPNA
- CPR certification
- Previous experience in pediatrics or respiratory care is an asset
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment
- Familiarity with EMRs (e.g., Telus MedAccess, CHR, PS Suite, Accuro, or similar) is an asset
- Completed Criminal Record Check
