Bigstone Child & Family Services is seeking a Case Aide to support Assessment and Casework staff with family support, transportation, documentation, referrals, and case-related administrative activities.

LOCATION: Wabasca, AB

JOB CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Support Assessors and Caseworkers with case management activities and service coordination
- Support children, youth, and families in accessing community services, counselling, and natural supports
- Assist families in identifying strategies and resources to address family needs and strengthen relationships
- Coordinate and supervise visits as directed and within the scope of the position
- Transport clients and attend appointments as required
- Participate in case conferences and provide relevant information regarding case plan progress
- Assist with placement-related needs and supports as directed by the Assessor or Caseworker
- Receive and direct incoming calls and in-person referrals to appropriate resources
- Prepare accurate contact notes, reports,



and other required documentation
- Work collaboratively with BCN CFS staff, families, community agencies, schools, health professionals, and other service providers

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS:

- Social Work Diploma with related experience; approved equivalency to be confirmed
- Knowledge of child intervention practice, community resources, and referral processes
- Robust communication, organization, judgment, and collaboration skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work within the scope of the Case Aide role
- Ability to work respectfully with First Nations children, youth, families, and communities
- Driver’s licence, reliable vehicle, and screening requirements to be confirmed
- Ability to work with urgent, emotionally sensitive, or challenging situations
- Ability to comply with applicable legislation, organizational policies, and procedures
