Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Asphalt Foreman to lead and oversee asphalt paving projects from start to finish. In this role, you will coordinate crews, manage project timelines, ensure quality standards, and maintain safety protocols on-site. Your leadership will drive project success, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, within budget, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in delivering durable, high-quality asphalt surfaces for a variety of infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

- Supervise daily operations on asphalt paving sites, directing crews and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project schedules
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project specifications and schematics
- Monitor quality control measures throughout the paving process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements
- Utilize construction management software such as Primavera P6 to plan, schedule, and track project progress
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately to guide installation procedures
- Manage budgeting aspects related to labor, materials, and equipment usage while maintaining cost efficiency




- Conduct safety inspections regularly and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment

Qualifications

- Proven supervising experience in asphalt paving or related construction fields
- Robust knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6
- Extensive construction experience with an emphasis on asphalt or roadwork projects
- Skilled in blueprint reading, construction estimating, and interpreting schematics
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high-quality standards
- Familiarity with quality control procedures specific to asphalt paving projects
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
