Automotive Lot Attendant – Vehicle Photos & Merchandising

Bannister Nissan Chilliwack | Full-Time, Permanent | $18–$20/hour

If you like vehicles, enjoy working outside, take pride in keeping things organized and would rather stay busy than watch the clock, this may be a excellent fit.

Bannister Nissan Chilliwack is looking for a dependable, energetic and highly organized Automotive Lot Attendant to help us keep our dealership looking its best — both on the lot and online.

This is more than simply parking vehicles. The person in this role will help control the appearance and organization of our vehicle inventory, keep our showroom and lot customer-ready, and take photos and video used on our website and social media.

What you'll be responsible for

- Keeping new and pre-owned vehicles clean, organized, properly lined up and customer ready
- Maintaining an organized, professional-looking dealership lot and showroom
- Moving vehicles safely and efficiently throughout the property
- Taking clear, consistent and attractive photos of vehicles for our website and online advertising
- Capturing short vehicle videos and other simple content for social media
- Making sure vehicles are photographed promptly and online inventory stays current - Keeping track of vehicle locations, keys and inventory movement
- Helping ensure vehicles have fuel and are ready when needed
- Assisting with dealership displays, merchandising and showroom vehicles
- Delivering or picking up vehicles locally from time to time
- Assisting Sales, Service and other dealership departments when required
- Helping keep the lot free of garbage, debris, snow and other obstructions
- Identifying things that need attention and taking action rather than waiting to be asked

We're looking for someone who is reliable, organized and productive. You don't need to be a professional photographer or have years of dealership experience.

We can teach the right person our processes. What we can't teach as easily is urgency,

attention to detail and work ethic.

The right person notices when a vehicle is out of place, a display doesn't look right, something needs to be cleaned or a task needs to be completed — and takes care of it.

You should be comfortable using a smartphone or camera to take photos and video, working independently, managing several priorities and staying productive throughout the day.

A valid driver's licence and a safe driving record are required, as you will be moving and occasionally delivering dealership vehicles.

This is an active, outdoor position A large part of your day will be spent outside throughout the year. That means working during hot summer days, rain and cold weather.

The position involves considerable walking and standing as well as getting in and out of vehicles throughout the day.

If you enjoy being active, working around vehicles and seeing the results of your work, you'll probably enjoy this environment.

What success looks like - Our lot is organized. Our vehicles are clean and properly displayed. Our showroom looks great. Keys and vehicles can be located quickly. New inventory gets photographed without unnecessary delays. Our online vehicles look professional. Tasks get completed with urgency, and the sales team can rely on you when something needs to get done.

Most importantly, you take ownership of your area.

You'll be joining a busy automotive dealership where your work has a direct impact on the customer experience and how our vehicles are presented to thousands of people online.

We value people who show up, work hard, help their teammates and take pride in doing things properly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in automotive, photography, video, social media or dealership operations who wants a role with variety rather than doing the exact same thing all day.

If you're dependable, detail-oriented, organized and ready to work, we'd like to hear from you. Apply through Indeed with your resume.

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
