WELDER/FITTER - Senior level

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has immediate direct hire opportunities Welder/Fitters in the Windsor/Essex area. MUST be able to read blueprints, have a valid drivers license and your own transportation. Custom fabrication experience required, NOT production welding.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

- 4+ years recent Welder/Fitter experience preferred
- Current CWB Certification a definite asset
- Robust blueprint reading skills
- Layout, fit and weld fabricated components to assembled structural steel pieces
- Custom welder fitter experience required, not production welding
- Repair parts if needed by reshaping, straightening or dismantling pieces




- Forklift and Crane Certification an asset
- Own basic set of tools; welding helmet, gloves, safety shoes and glasses
- MUST have a valid drivers license and own transportation

HOURLY RANGE:

- Pays $28/hr DOE
