Automotive Sales Manager

Full-Time | Confidential Opportunity

A franchised automotive dealership is currently seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to join its management team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the sales department, assisting the sales team throughout the vehicle sales process, and contributing to the overall performance of the department.

This position is well suited to an experienced automotive professional with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

- Oversee the daily activities of the vehicle sales department
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to the sales team
- Assist Sales Consultants throughout the sales process
- Review and assist with vehicle transactions and deal structuring
- Monitor department performance and sales results
- Support the recruitment, training, and development of sales staff
- Assist with new and pre-owned vehicle inventory management
- Help ensure dealership sales procedures are followed consistently
- Address customer questions or concerns when management assistance is required
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused sales environment
- Work collaboratively with other dealership departments
- Perform other management responsibilities related to the operation of the sales department

Qualifications

- Previous automotive dealership sales experience required




- Previous sales management or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
- Comfortable working with sales targets and department performance expectations
- Working knowledge of automotive dealership operations
- Valid driver’s licence and acceptable driving record
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings and Saturdays as required

Compensation & Benefits
