Deckify is looking for Junior Sales Representatives (Setters). This role is for driven individuals who want to learn or improve on the fundamentals of sales, leave a role with little to no opportunity for growth, or get their foot in the door with sales with the opportunity for a long-term career.

We specialize in premium outdoor living construction (decks, gazebos, cabanas, etc.). We operate nationally with a team of over 200 professionals and are industry leaders in our field. We’ve built our reputation on scale, consistency, and execution. Our market offer is simple: headache-free project management and exceptional delivery from first contact to final inspection.

The Role

As a Junior Sales Rep (Setter), your primary responsibility is lead generation - not closing sales at the door. You'll spend your time starting friendly conversations with homeowners, identifying potential customers who are interested in improving their outdoor space, and generating qualified leads for our sales team. You won't be expected to quote projects or pressure homeowners into making a decision.

What you will learn is how to confidently approach people, start conversations, overcome objections, identify opportunities, and consistently generate results. These are foundational sales skills that can take you far beyond this position.

Growth and Advancement

We only promote from within. This position is an entry point to our sales team, not a position we're looking for someone to stay in indefinitely. Door-to-Door Team Lead - $60K-$90K+ annual earning potential

- Oversee the entire door-to-door team, providing training for new reps and coaching for current reps while generating your own leads.
- Earn increased door-to-door pay + commission on the revenue generated by your team with the opportunity for further promotion.

Senior Sales Rep (Closer) - $80K-$100K+ annual earning potential

- For those with an eye for design and the ability to close deals.
- Attend appointments set up by our marketing team to conduct design consultations, present quotes, and close sales.
- Earn a competitive salary + commission on your sales with the opportunity for further promotion.

Setter Compensation

- $18/hour guaranteed.
- PLUS $30 for every lead you generate that converts to an appointment.

Our goal is to consistently average one qualified lead per hour, and you'll receive the

training and coaching to help you get there.

What You'll Do

- Canvass assigned neighbourhoods throughout Burlington and Hamilton.
- Start confident, friendly conversations with homeowners about deck repairs, replacements, and outdoor living projects.
- Identify qualified prospects and collect their contact information.
- Use your phone to follow routes and track results.
- Continuously improve your performance through coaching and feedback.

What We're Looking For

- At least 1 year of sales or customer-facing experience (retail, hospitality, customer service, fundraising, events, door-to-door, etc.).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude, resilience, and a willingness to learn.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Reliable transportation to work in different neighbourhoods throughout Burlington and Hamilton.
- Comfortable walking outdoors for several hours in varying weather.

Schedule

- Part-time (potential for full time).
- Evening and weekend shifts.
- Ability to pick your shifts (within prime canvassing hours) on a weekly basis.
- Approximately 12–20 hours per week.
