We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Flooring Sales Specialist to join our team. This role involves engaging with clients to understand their flooring needs, providing expert guidance, and closing high-end sales. The ideal candidate will possess robust communication skills, sales experience, and a passion for home renovation and construction projects. As a Flooring Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving business growth through effective product demonstrations, upselling, and account management.

Responsibilities

- Engage with customers both inside the showroom and through outside sales efforts to identify their flooring needs.
- Conduct product demos to showcase flooring options, including high-end materials and custom solutions.
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective account management and follow-up.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and upselling opportunities to maximize sales revenue.
- Assist customers with renovation, remodeling, or construction projects by providing expert advice on flooring options.
- Coordinate merchandising efforts to ensure attractive product displays that enhance customer experience.




- Leverage marketing strategies to attract new clients and promote special offers or new products.
- Maintain organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts efficiently while ensuring excellent customer service.

Skills

- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or inside sales within the home improvement or construction industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of renovation, remodeling, or construction processes is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering processes.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to deliver engaging product demos that highlight features and benefits of flooring options.
- Customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
