Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor spaces and a robust understanding of landscape architecture principles. As a Landscape Designer, you will be responsible for designing aesthetically pleasing and functional outdoor environments that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other team members to bring innovative landscape designs to life.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for landscape projects.
- Create detailed landscape designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Develop planting plans that include the selection of appropriate plants, trees, and shrubs based on climate, soil type, and client preferences.
- Prepare project proposals, including cost estimates and timelines for completion.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing conditions and identify opportunities for improvement.




- Coordinate with contractors and other professionals to ensure designs are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and sustainable practices in landscape design.
- Provide ongoing support during the installation phase to address any design-related questions or issues.

Skills

- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools (e.g., SketchUp, Dynascape)
- Strong understanding of landscape installation practices, horticulture, plant identification, and landscape ecology.
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
- Creative problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in design execution.
- Knowledge of local zoning laws, building codes, and environmental regulations related to landscaping.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- A degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for highly skilled candidates with relevant experience.

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
