We are seeking an experienced aviation professional to join our team as Quality Assurance Manager.
About the Role
The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee and continuously improve Prairie Helicopters’ Quality Assurance Program. This role supports compliance with Transport Canada regulations, company standards, approved procedures, and industry best practices.
The successful candidate will work closely with management, maintenance personnel, pilots, and other team members to promote a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
● Manage and maintain the company’s Quality Assurance Program.
● Conduct internal audits, inspections, and reviews of maintenance and operational activities.
● Monitor compliance with Transport Canada regulations, company policies, approved procedures, and applicable standards.
● Identify non-compliance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
● Document audit findings and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
● Review maintenance records, operational documentation, processes, and procedures.
● Maintain accurate, organized QA records.
● Assist with developing and revising policies, procedures, and quality documents.
● Promote a positive culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement Qualifications
● Experience in aviation quality assurance, aircraft maintenance, or regulatory compliance.
● Equivalent education, training,
or experience may be considered.
● Strong knowledge of Transport Canada Civil Aviation Regulations and Standards.
● Experience in helicopter or commercial aviation is an asset.
● AME licence or another recognized aviation qualification is an asset.
● Previous audit or inspection experience is preferred.
● Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
● Excellent attention to detail and sound judgment.
● Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic record-keeping systems.
● Professional, objective, and collaborative approach.

Pay: $72,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
