Day Shift-6 am to 3:30 pm

Afternoon- 2pm-11pm

Description of Duties and Responsibilities

- Package products according to packaging specifications, expiration code, and quality attributes
- Verify line quality checks including CCP documentation (sensory evaluation, weight checks, parameter documentation, control charts), and accurately report production quantities.
- Document corrective actions taken for out of control process.
- Input production data into Navision system.
- Ensure GMP’s are practiced and adhere to company’s quality policy.
- Ensure use of clean trays and work areas are free of hazards.
- Perform pre-operational checks for quality and safety.
- Interact with mixer/operators to resolve packaging equipment and minor mechanical problems.
- Manage material and finished product flow in the packaging area issuing FIFO method.
- Manage breaks and relieve positions as needed – must be able to perform all packaging tasks.
- Direct and monitor activities of packaging line Team Members.
- Always work safely, keep work area clean and tidy, wear proper PPE,



ensure product meets proper quality and food safety standard and work to GMP rules

Skill and Experience Requirements:

- Computer Skills – data entry
- 2 years experience as a team leader in a food industry
- Math Skills – percentages, decimals, arithmetic, graphs, measurements
- Communication Skills – read & write to minimum grade 10 level preferred
- Presentation Skills – able to explain/direct/coach members and entire team
- Administrative Skills – able to manage goals and paperwork on timely manner
- Mechanical Ability – able to do basic troubleshooting by understanding rudimentary mechanical concepts
- Leadership Ability – able to direct team members through motivation and valuable interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts and procedures.
- Familiar with HACCP policies.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Experience:

- Team leader : 2 years (required)
- Food industry : 2 years (required)
