Responsibilities

- Warmly greet guests upon arrival, providing friendly and professional service from the moment they walk in
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Open table or similar software
- Escort guests to their tables, ensuring they are comfortable and informed about menu options if needed
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand, managing seating flow to optimize restaurant efficiency
- Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information and taking reservations as needed




- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction
- Handle guest concerns or special requests promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary

Requirements

- Proven experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality roles within restaurants or hotels
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food service operations and restaurant procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Open table or similar platforms
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to create a welcoming setting
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous food service experience is preferred; hotel experience is a plus but not required
