Job Title: Resource Coordinator

Reports To: GM, Peace River

Location: Peace River, AB

Position Summary: The Resource Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the safe, efficient, and productive operation of Source Energy Services’ Peace River division. Reporting to the General Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating field personnel, developing and managing crew schedules, ensuring accurate time and expense reporting, supporting recruitment and onboarding activities, and maintaining effective communication between employees, supervisors, and operational teams. This position works closely with Operations, Maintenance, HSE, HR, and Finance to ensure staffing levels, training requirements, equipment readiness, and regulatory compliance are met. Success in this role requires strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Develop and manage crew schedules, while effectively communicating with staff and forecasting operational delays and/or changes;
- Ensure accuracy and completion of field staff’s timesheets and expenses are sent to Finance on time;
- Comply with all Company and Regulatory Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and Service Quality (SQ) and IT standards and policies for an incident-free record.



Maintain required HSE and SQ certifications up-to-date;
- Monitor HSE performance of the Peace River staff and ensure compliance among teams;
- Assist with recruitment and selection of new employees, interviewing, onboarding, etc;
- Monitor the preventive maintenance on equipment in partnership with the Maintenance Manager and onsite Operations team; and
- Review and assist in updating crew competencies.

Who We’re Looking For:

- Adaptability to change schedules as required, while effectively and collaboratively communicating changes with staff;
- Flexibility to changing business needs and may require some work in the evenings or on weekends;
- Strong Microsoft Office knowledge with ability to interpret, organize and track data;
- Working with HR and HSE, comply with and enforce all requisite Safety and Employment regulations throughout operation and transport of units (including Hours of Work, Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Work procedures where applicable);
- Ensure completion of all Training and associated documentation before proceeding with operation of equipment-further dependent on location, and client;
- Comply with operational standards regarding proper equipment use and maintenance; and
- Taking care to use and inspect as necessary all PPE required for Safe Operation including Hard Hat, Dust Masks (Respirators), Gloves, High-Visibility Coveralls, Safety Boots, Safety Glasses and Fall Protection Equipment where applicable.

Qualifications:





We are looking for an individual with a hardworking attitude, who has strong organizational skills and is detail oriented. This individual must be self-motivated and adaptable to change. Other basic requirements include:

- A High School Diploma or equivalent;
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in crew scheduling, processing and/or project management.
- Previous supervisory experience is an asset.
- Proven experience building relationships and influencing others;
- Previous experience in an oilfield or mining environment with exposure to operational procedural and safety regulations an asset, however other industries will also be considered;
- Solid team player with expertise in developing and nurturing solid teams while maintaining a mutually respectful work culture;
- Superior verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong ability to engage with multiple stakeholders at once while juggling multiple deadlines and competing priorities;
- Recognize areas of training required by staff and ensure appropriate competency and safety training is scheduled and provided;
- Attainment of valid safety tickets (First Aid, H2S) is required;
- Willingness to occasionally complete tasks outside of regular work activities as part of the team;
- Able to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug, alcohol and fit suitability testing;
- Working knowledge and proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel; and
- A valid Class 5 Driver’s License is required with a clean driving record.
