Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:Catering Driver at the U of A

- Responsible for the loading, unloading, food on a daily basis while following all truck safety procedures
- Deliver Staff and Food to Event Spaces
- Collect/Pick up all Catering Items from Locations or Event Spaces
- Delivery from Store to Store including Product, Baker carts, Mail
- Exhibit excellent customer service and maintain a well-groomed, neat appearance
- Deliver equipment and food product
- Clean all vehicles and equipment after use
- Fuel vehicles as necessary
- Complete daily vehicle inspection reports
- Report necessary maintenance or repairs on equipment and vehicles to Managers in a timely manner
- Maintain storage rooms in an orderly fashion
- Maintain and upkeep cleanliness of equipment and all other supplies
- Perform all job duties in a safe manner by adhering to all driving regulations, road signs, and company safety policies and procedures
- Report moving violations that are received on or off duty to your Manager immediately
- Perform opening and closing side work as needed




- Perform other duties as directed by a Manager/Captain

Additional Job Functions: Work in other areas or departments as needed

- Completion of any task requested by a supervisor or member of the Aramark management team.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

- Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver License
- Clean Drivers and Criminal Record
- Over the age of 21

Desired Qualifications: Valuable time management

- Excellent organizational skills

Work Environment: Back of the House, the catering field, loading and unloading trucks in all weather conditions. Job requires frequent lifting and repetitive motion. Involves working with chemicals, heated equipment, steam, and other at-risk conditions.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
