Job Title: Cashier - Part Time
Location: Petite Riviere, Nova Scotia
Position Type : 2-5 shifts a week, starting in Late Oct or Early November and continuing year round.

The Petite Riviere General Store is a long standing store—serving locals and visitors with everyday essentials, NSLC, ice cream, groceries, and a friendly atmosphere.

Role Overview
We’re looking for a reliable and personable Cashier to join our team this fall. This position is part time and year round. The ideal candidate enjoys working with the public, can multitask in a busy setting, and is committed to creating a welcoming experience for every customer.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Stock shelves, rotate products, and keep displays tidy
- Assist with store cleaning and organization
- Answer customer questions about products and local offerings




- Support other team members as needed
- Available to work weekdays and Weekends.

Qualifications

- Applicants must be over the age of 19.
- Solid customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Previous retail or cashier experience an asset (but not required—we’re happy to provide training)
