Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will support the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling inventory management, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. Your energetic approach and mechanical aptitude will contribute to seamless warehouse distribution processes, enabling us to meet customer demands swiftly and reliably. Responsibilities

- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and efficiently to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Assist with order picking and packing to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment for delivery or shipment.
- Manage shipping & receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to proper manual handling techniques during stock movement or construction-related activities.




- Support manufacturing or construction teams by providing materials handling assistance as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse workplace by properly storing goods, packaging items securely, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.

Qualifications

- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse distribution operations is highly preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts is a plus.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and load/unload tasks regularly throughout the shift.
- Construction or manufacturing experience is advantageous for supporting diverse operational needs.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse procedures is required.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
