GP Home Furniture & Appliances – Chilliwack, BC

GP Home is looking for a skilled, detail-oriented professional to take ownership of our Yeti Customization Program. This role requires robust graphic design skills and hands-on experience operating a laser engraver to create custom products from proof to finished piece. You’ll work directly with customers, translate their ideas into polished artwork, meet production deadlines (including corporate orders), and support front counter operations.

This is not an entry-level role. We’re looking for someone who can rebuild and elevate this program with focus, creativity, and reliability.

What You’ll Do

Yeti Customization Program

- Meet with customers to understand their customization requests
- Create clean, professional proofs and production-ready artwork
- Operate a laser engraver to customize cups according to approved proofs
- Maintain accuracy, quality control, and tight deadlines — including time-sensitive corporate orders
- Track projects from initial proof through final delivery

In-Store Content

- Capture photo and video content in-store
- Assist with social media posts and stories (with direction from our Marketing Coordinator)
- Help showcase products and displays creatively

Reception / Cashier Coverage

- Greet and assist customers at the front counter
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Answer phones and direct inquiries
- Cover one scheduled day per week plus vacation coverage as needed

What We’re Looking For

- Graphic design skills required (Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or similar tools)




- Hands-on laser engraving experience required (or equivalent production/customization experience)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Comfortable managing deadlines, including time-sensitive corporate orders
- Positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Willing to work Saturdays

A portfolio of customization or design work is preferred.
This role is for someone who can take ownership, follow through, and elevate the program.

Schedule & Compensation

- Part-time: 3 days per week
- One day per week in reception/cashier coverage
- Full-time hours available September through December
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience
