Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs
- Explain repair estimates clearly, highlighting recommended services and upselling additional maintenance or repairs when appropriate
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of services
- Manage customer communication throughout the repair process, providing updates and answering questions to foster trust
- Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and maintain detailed records of all service activities




- Promote dealership services and products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain a thorough understanding of automotive repair procedures, dealership offerings, and mechanical terminology to effectively communicate with both customers and technicians

Skills

- Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive service operations
- Mechanical knowledge gained through mechanic experience or technical training to confidently discuss vehicle issues
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor that builds rapport and trust
- Ability to upsell services by identifying customer needs while maintaining transparency and integrity
- Strong sales skills with a focus on achieving service department goals
- Cash handling experience ensuring accurate transactions and record keeping
