Job Summary

Looking for one to one care for elderly lady in a care home hours 2-9 pm Monday - Friday - 3-8 on Saturday. Cash pay. Nursing support available at all times. $21 per hour. Must be certified HCA.

Duties

- Assist with of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding and mobility support
- Ensure room is clean and tidy
- Monitor health status, report changes promptly to healthcare professionals, and document observations diligently
- Provide dementia care by implementing specialized strategies to promote comfort

Qualifications

- Previous experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities, including dementia care




- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Solid caregiving skills combined with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to perform light cleaning, meal preparation, and other household tasks efficiently
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others
- Certification as a Health Care Aide or equivalent is an asset; willingness to obtain necessary certifications if not already held
