Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities

- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, restorations, and orthodontic treatments.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain strict infection control standards.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort throughout visits.
- Manage patient records using dental software systems such as Epic or Dentrix, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Schedule appointments, confirm upcoming visits, and handle patient inquiries with professionalism.




- Support orthodontic treatments by taking impressions, assisting with appliance placement, and providing patient education on orthodontic care.

Skills

- Proficiency with Cleardent dental software an asset.
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and appliances is highly desirable.
- Experience working as a dental receptionist or in a front-office role is a plus.
- Ability to understand and communicate medical terminology clearly to patients and team members.
- Strong familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices to provide compassionate care for young patients.
- Basic understanding of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools for assisting with dental appliance fabrication is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters positive patient interactions.

Pay: $34.00-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38.0 per week
