Job Title: Behavior Interventionist (BI)/Senior Behavior Interventionist – Richmond (South Richmond)
Compensation: Behavior Interventionist $30–$34/hour (commensurate with experience); Senior Behavior Interventionist $35-48/hour (commensurate with experience)

Position Overview:

We are urgently seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavior Interventionist (BI) to support a young lady with Autism in the Richmond area.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver one-on-one behavioral support and intervention
- Implement individualized behavior support plans developed by the Behavior Consultant
- Support the development of independent living, leisure, and life skills
- Foster a secure, engaging, and supportive learning environment
- Collect and maintain accurate data on behavioral progress
- Senior BI:
- Lead and supervise a team of behavior interventionists, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Design programs for independent life skills and independent leisure skills
- Collaborate with families and consultant to review and optimize programs

Qualifications:





- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with individuals with Autism (teens or young adults preferred)
- Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Familiarity with special education practices and intervention strategies
- Ability to maintain a calm, positive, and professional demeanor
- Education in Psychology, Special Education, English Literature, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), FTF Therapy, or a related field (preferred)
- Skilled in behavior tracking and data analysis
- Senior BI:
- Strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and/or Family Behavior Therapy (FBT)
- Exceptional behavior assessment and analytical skills
- Experience in leadership, supervision and program design
- Relevant certifications or coursework in behavior analysis or related fields are an asset

Position Details:

- Schedule Options: Monday to Friday, and weekends
- Morning Shift: 10:00 AM – 12:00 AM
- Afternoon Shift: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Hours: 2–4 hours per day (flexible shifts)
- Supervision: You will receive direct supervision and guidance from a certified Behavior Consultant.

Pay: $30.00-$48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 8.0 per week
