Nest Dental is a newly opened state of the art general dentist office on Fraser street in Vancouver, BC. We are looking for an experienced dental receptionist to join our growing team. Candidate must have at least 2 year of experience as a dental receptionist and must know how to process dental insurance claims, accounts receivable, treatment coordination and follow structured systems and SOPs. This is a full time position with weekend availability needed at times and not an entry level position.

Duties
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk area
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns
- Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate patient records on Open Dental
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area

- Manage account receivable and patient payments

- Assist in achieving daily and monthly practice goals

Qualifications




- Previous 2 year experience in Dental reception and handling and process insurance claims.
- Knowledge of dental office procedures and terminology.
- Strong customer support skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in proofreading documents for accuracy
- Familiarity with office equipment and basic computer skills
- Experience with data entry
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a quick-paced environment
- Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
