Advance Services Group Inc. is looking for a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our growing team. We are seeking an individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience in a variety of interior and exterior construction applications.

Responsibilities & Skills

Experience and skills in the following areas are considered an asset, but are not limited to:

- Interior and exterior carpentry
- Framing and structural wood construction
- Door and frame installation
- Trim, baseboard, casing, and finish carpentry
- Drywall installation and repairs
- Demolition and selective demolition
- Ceiling and wall construction
- Exterior siding and building envelope work
- Decks, stairs, railings, and other exterior construction
- Installation of blocking, backing, and miscellaneous wood structures
- Renovations and tenant improvements




- Concrete forming and related construction work
- Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
- General construction and job-site maintenance
- Working safely with hand and power tools
- Working independently as well as part of a construction team

Requirements

- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Previous carpentry or construction experience
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work safely in a variety of commercial, industrial, and construction environments
- Willingness to work overtime when required
