Position: 1.0 FTE LTO Virtual NSL Teacher

Anticipated Duration: Immediately to June 25, 2027

Location: Virtual

Qualifications: • OCT Certificate Preferred

- NSL qualifications preferred; or demonstrated ability to speak and write

basic Ojibwe language
- Demonstrated knowledge of Ojibwe language, culture, traditions, and

teachings.
- Experience working with children and youth in educational, cultural, or

community settings.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, families, and

community members.
- Solid communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a school team.

About This Role: Working collaboratively with school administrators, classroom teachers,

Indigenous Education staff, and community partners, the 1.0 FTE LTO Virtual
NSL Teacher will develop and deliver virtual lessons that support language




revitalization and provide equitable access to Ojibwe language learning
opportunities for students throughout the district.
