We are hiring a Machine Operator in Vaughan, ON.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are currently seeking a reliable and physically solid Machine Operators to join our team. This role involves continuous physical work and heavy lifting at the job site. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to handle demanding tasks throughout the shift.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Operate welding equipment to produce parts to specification and perform other duties according to specific job instructions.
- Understand customer weld specifications and weld acceptance criteria.
- Complete OK to Run Checklist, Red Herring Verification and ensure there is a First Off before running production.
- Have a strong understanding of safety protocols.
- Complete all necessary documentation(production related)
- Abide by all Company polices including but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee Handbook.
- Ensure quality parts are passed on the next operation.
- Complete all necessary documentation (quality alerts, in process quality fixture checks, quality inspection sheet,



batch hold release tags, packaging instruction, first off and last off) correctly and in a timely manner.
- Perform Red Herring as per instructions on HMI and filled out the red herring checklist document.
- Ensure First Off and Last Off procedures are being followed.
- Notify Tech Lead of quality related problems immediately.
- Follow escalation procedure when potential nonconformance is observed

REQUIREMENTS / CERTIFICATIONS

- Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly during the shift
- Physically fit and capable of performing continuous manual work
- Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team
- Previous manufacturing environment or machine operator experience is an asset
- Must be able to communicate in English; both oral and written
- Minimum 6 to 12 months experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow standardized work instructions

WORKING CONDITIONS

- Physically demanding environment
- Exposure to varying temperatures depending on the work site
- Fast-paced setting with repetitive tasks

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

- $19 per hour

SCHEDULE:

- Monday to Friday:
- Day Shift (6AM - 2PM)
- Night shift (10PM - 6AM)
