Job Summary

Join a dynamic and fast-paced musculoskeletal (MSK) clinic as a Physiotherapist, where your expertise will make a meaningful impact on patient recovery and well-being. This role offers a versatile split of clinical duties, with approximately 50-60% dedicated to direct patient care, primarily focusing on musculoskeletal conditions, while the remaining time may involve collaborative team activities and administrative tasks. You will be an integral part of a busy clinic environment that values proactive, patient-centered care and continuous professional development. Your clinical skills, combined with your passion for helping others, will drive positive outcomes for diverse patient populations.

Mentorship will be provided on McKenzie Diagnostic Technique and Manual Therapy on a weekly basis.

Caseload management will be taught and full caseload expected in 4 months after start date.

Duties

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with musculoskeletal complaints, including joint, muscle, and soft tissue issues
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based physiotherapy techniques to promote recovery and functional improvement.
- Provide hands-on therapy such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to facilitate pain relief and mobility restoration.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and ergonomic practices to empower ongoing health maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members—including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals—to ensure cohesive patient care.




- Conduct assessments and treatments at home visits within 10km radius from clinic
- Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with clinic protocols.
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices by engaging in ongoing professional development and integrating new techniques into patient care.

Qualifications

- Proven Canadian experience working as a Physiotherapist or physiotherapy graduate from a Canadian university
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex musculoskeletal cases with a focus on patient safety and effective treatment outcomes.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is a valuable asset for providing comprehensive care across age groups.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to musculoskeletal injuries and treatments to ensure accurate communication and documentation.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach that fosters trust and encourages active participation in rehabilitation programs.
- Ability to adapt quickly within a busy clinical environment while maintaining high standards of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Must be licensed to practice in Ontario, Canada
