Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Hand/Cook to join our energetic food service team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by assisting with food preparation, cooking, and food handling tasks. Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients for various dishes
- Support cooking activities by following recipes and kitchen procedures to ensure consistent quality
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper storage, sanitation, and hygiene practices
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or staff in accordance with established service standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations throughout your shift




- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of supply needs
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for everyone

Skills

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and safety standards
- Ability to assist with meal preparation and cooking tasks efficiently
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, professional attitude towards customers and team members
- Knowledge of the food industry’s best practices for hygiene and safety
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced setting
- Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and food service processes

Pay: $17.60-$17.70 per hour
