Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and a positive experience from the moment they arrive. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong sense of hospitality, and the ability to manage guest flow efficiently in a quick-paced environment. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop customer service skills and gain valuable experience in the food service industry.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage wait times effectively
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus with enthusiasm
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar software
- Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing information about the restaurant and reservation options
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow




- Handle guest inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously to ensure satisfaction
- Assist with maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that reflects excellent hospitality standards

Skills

- Strong guest services and customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience with serving, food service, or restaurant operations is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Knowledge of hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous
- Phone etiquette skills for handling reservations and guest inquiries professionally
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
