KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare Working drawings (IFC) and Permit drawings (IFP)
- Detail drawings
- Building envelope detailing
- Structural steel and window coordination
- Shop drawing review
- Prepare Site planning drawings
- BIM conflict identification and resolution
- Timber frame detailing and shop drawing review
- Revit modelling and 2D AutoCAD detailed drawing

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- Thorough knowledge of the Ontario Building Code is required.
- Thorough understanding of best practices in light wood framed construction is required.
- Structural steel and timber construction is an asset.
- Robust oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills while balancing tight timelines and project schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS





- Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- BCIN Certification: BCIN certification is required for this role; however, candidates who do not currently hold the certification will be considered provided they are willing to obtain it. The Company will provide support and resources to assist the successful candidate in achieving BCIN certification.
- Minimum of 5-10 years experience, preferably in an Architecture or Engineering firm.
- Understanding of essential building science principles and enclosure detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required.
- Lumion, SketchUp, Enscape knowledge is an asset, but not a requirement.
- Passion for executing highly detailed, technically accurate architectural work

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
