Mountain Mechanical is a family-owned and operated full-service automotive repair facility and industrial mining service and supply warehouse.

The successful candidate will be a strong team player with excellent organizational skills, and will possess the following attributes:

· A minimum of 3-5 years' experience with a medium-sized business; CPA designation is not required but is an asset.

· Excellent computer skills; industry knowledge and QuickBooks Online Advanced is an asset.

· Reporting to the President.

· Manage a small accounting team of three across three locations.

· An ability to meet tight deadlines.

· A strong track record in managing the full accounting cycle.

· Payroll compliance knowledge for B.C.





· Ability to work with minimal supervision and provide supervision to your team.

· Excellent organization and communication skills.

· A desire for a high level of customer service.

· Proactive approach to work.

Key responsibilities include:

- All aspects of financial reporting, sales analysis, financial management and data entry using the QuickBooks Online accounting system in concert with the point-of-sale systems.
- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements in a timely manner.
- Problem-solve in a dynamic setting.
- Understand, implement and oversee relevant procedures and controls to maximize efficiency and accuracy of accounting staff.
- Flexibility and willingness to take on challenges outside of your immediate job description
- Maintain office filing systems in a neat and orderly manner.
- Liaise with the external accountant and prepare year-end supporting schedules.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
