Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will deliver specialized physiotherapy services focused on the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction. Your expertise will help improve patients' quality of life by addressing conditions related to urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, postpartum recovery, and other pelvic health issues. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through patient-centered care in a supportive environment. This would be an independent contractor position operating on a revenue-split model.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with pelvic floor disorders, including evaluating muscle strength, coordination, and function.
- Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based physiotherapy techniques tailored to individual patient needs.
- Guide patients through exercises and interventions aimed at strengthening or relaxing pelvic floor muscles.
- Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, bladder training, and self-management strategies to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as urologists, gynecologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes in accordance with healthcare standards.
- Stay current with advancements in pelvic health physiotherapy through ongoing professional development.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a physiotherapist with a focus on pelvic health or related fields.
- Hospital experience is highly desirable, especially within acute care settings where complex cases are common.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is a plus, demonstrating versatility across age groups.
- Solid patient care skills with an empathetic approach to addressing sensitive health issues.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to pelvic health and general healthcare practices.

Pay: From $180.00 per hour
