THIS IS NOT A CONSTRUCTION PLUMBING JOB.

This is an in-home residential service plumbing position.

You'll be dealing directly with homeowners every day.

That means we're looking for someone who is technically strong and understands that the customer experience matters.

You're comfortable walking into a customer's home, identifying the problem, explaining what's happening and presenting professional solutions.

You don't just tell the customer:

"Here's what's broken."

You explain:

"Here's what we found, here's why it happened, and here are your options to fix it."ARE YOU AN A-PLAYER?

You're the plumber other plumbers call when they need help.

You:

- Diagnose before replacing parts
- Believe in the first-time fix philosophy

- Have strong plumbing and troubleshooting skills

- Know how to explain plumbing problems in a way customers understand
- Are comfortable presenting repair options and pricing

- Keep your truck clean, organized and properly stocked

As a Service Plumber, you'll be responsible for providing professional residential plumbing service throughout Woodstock, Ingersoll and surrounding communities.

Your day may include:

- Diagnosing residential plumbing problems
- Diagnosing and repairing drainage issues
- Installing, repairing and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures
- Repairing and replacing toilets, faucets, valves, pumps and plumbing fixtures
- Installing and replacing sump pumps and sewage pumps
- Troubleshooting drainage and sewer issues
- Cutting, threading, assembling and installing piping
- Soldering and joining pipe and fittings
- Connecting valves and testing completed work
- Reading and understanding plumbing drawings and blueprints
- Identifying safety and code concerns
- Preparing detailed findings reports with photos
- Presenting repair options and pricing to homeowners
- Using our True Transparency Pricing to provide customers with upfront pricing
- Communicating and explaining our service club/membership options
- Completing all required service documentation
- Ordering and preparing parts required for upcoming appointments
- Maintaining accurate truck inventory
- Keeping your truck clean, organized and stocked
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure jobs are completed properly
- Transporting materials and tools to job sites
- Properly accounting for assigned tools and equipment
- Providing an exceptional customer experience on every call

WHAT WE OFFER

$35–$40 PER HOUR

Competitive compensation based on experience, qualifications and skill.

BONUS & COMMISSION OPPORTUNITIES

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORRequired / Preferred

- Licensed Plumber 306A preferred
- Strong residential plumbing experience
- 3+ years plumbing experience preferred
- In-home service plumbing experience is a robust asset
- Valid driver's licence
- Acceptable driver's abstract
- Clean criminal background check required
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to lift and maneuver equipment and materials
- Ability to work in confined spaces when required
