Position Type: Temporary Part-Time / Term Contract

Contract Dates: October 26, 2026 – May 12, 2027

Compensation: $30.00+ / hour dependent on experience.

About the Role

We are seeking a warm, efficient, and reliable Level 2 Dental Assistant to join our family friendly practice to cover a maternity leave. If you are enthusiastic about delivering top-tier patient care, and working collaboratively with a supportive team, we would love to connect with you!

Schedule

· Days: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday

· Hours: 8:20 AM – 4:00 PM (a daily unpaid 30-minute lunch break)

Key Responsibilities

· Provide high-quality chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures.

· Take and process digital radiographs (X-rays).

· Perform intraoral duties allowable under Level 2 certification (e.g., polishing, fluoride application, impression taking).

· Prepare, sterilize, and disinfect instruments, treatment rooms, and equipment in accordance RCDSO guidelines.





· Maintain accurate electronic patient records and charts.

· Help maintain smooth patient flow and support general clinical operations.

Qualifications

· Certification: Level 2 Dental Assistant diploma/certification from an accredited program.

· Licensing: Active registration/license, HARP certified / ODAA / NDAEB.

· Experience: Previous clinical experience preferred, though motivated and adaptable candidates are welcome to apply.

· Skills: Solid communication, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to maintaining rigorous sterilization standards.
