Join our dynamic dental laboratory team as a Part-Time / On-Call Dental Lab Plastering Technician! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and applying plaster and other materials to create precise dental models and molds. Duties

- Mix and prepare plaster, stone, and other laboratory materials according to specified formulas and procedures
- Apply plaster to create accurate dental models, dies, and molds based on detailed instructions
- Ensure all work meets quality standards by inspecting finished products for accuracy and defects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and sanitation protocols
- Assist with the setup of dental models for further processing or fabrication by dental technicians or dentists
- Follow detailed technical drawings or digital CAD (Computer-Aided Design)



files when necessary
- Support the laboratory team with additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth workflow

Skills

- Familiarity with CAD software or digital design tools used in dental modeling is a plus
- Previous experience working in a dental office or laboratory environment strongly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health
- Laboratory experience with casting, molding, or model fabrication techniques
- Basic understanding of dental assisting procedures and terminology
- Robust attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity
- Ability to follow precise instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
