Our ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, thrive in a dynamic group setting, and possess strong benefit administration experience with an interest in system integration. This role requires an individual with an analytical eye, the ability to trouble-shoot unique scenarios, and who has proven organization and time management skills. Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Support the implementation, testing and ongoing enhancement of our HRIS system and modules designed to support the administration of benefit services;
- Ensuring employee/employer contributions and remittances are processed, recorded and reported accurately and in accordance with plan documents and company policy;
- Managing the day to day administration and education of our group benefits program including health, dental, life insurance, critical illness, disability, health spending and wellness benefits, provincial healthcare and retirement plans;
- Facilitating group benefit and retirement savings meetings and education sessions for employees;
- Advising clients on employer-sponsored benefit plans, retirement savings policies and other wellness programs; and
- Providing clients with recommendations and information on current benefit plan practices.

We are looking for candidates that have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a benefit-focused position. Comprehensive knowledge and experience in group benefit/retirement savings plan is required. Experience in HRIS integration or conversion is an asset. Completion of a post-secondary education in Business Administration (or equivalent) from a recognized college or equivalent experience is preferred. Certified Employee Advantages Specialist (CEBS) qualification or equivalent relevant education would be an asset. Bilingual French/English language would be considered an asset.
