About One World Staffing

One World Staffing provides event staffing and event technology support across Canada and the U.S. We support Candlelight concerts, corporate events, conferences, festivals, trade shows, exhibitions, event setup and breakdown, logistics, and event technology projects.

We are currently hiring a U-Haul Driver to support an upcoming Candlelight concert in Drummondville, Quebec.

This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, comfortable driving a U-Haul, and able to assist with the transportation, loading, unloading, setup, and breakdown of event materials.

About the Event

Candlelight concerts are unique live music experiences where musicians perform in beautiful venues surrounded by candlelight.

The Drummondville event will feature two Candlelight performances at Basilique Saint-Frédéric, including Vivaldi's Four Seasons and Coldplay & Imagine Dragons.

The U-Haul Driver will help make sure event equipment and materials arrive onsite safely and are properly handled before and after the event.

Responsibilities

- Drive the assigned U-Haul safely and responsibly
- Pick up and transport event equipment and materials
- Load and unload equipment and event supplies
- Assist with moving equipment into and out of the venue
- Help with event setup and breakdown
- Work closely with the Event Lead and onsite team
- Make sure equipment is handled carefully during transportation
- Assist with packing equipment after the event
- Return equipment and materials as instructed




- Follow transportation and event instructions
- Maintain a professional and reliable presence throughout the shift

Requirements

- Valid Class 5 Quebec driver's licence required
- Must be legally licensed to operate the assigned U-Haul vehicle
- Previous U-Haul, delivery, moving, logistics, or event experience is an asset
- Comfortable driving a larger vehicle
- Reliable and punctual
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable loading and unloading event equipment
- Able to lift and move event materials safely
- Comfortable working a long event day
- Must be available for the full 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM shift

Pay

$22/hour, paid biweekly.
