Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Worker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various metalworking techniques and machinery. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where precision, safety, and quality are paramount. The Metal Worker will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and inspecting metal components to meet project specifications.

Duties

- Operate and maintain CNC laser cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe, plasma cutting, press brake machines, and other related equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate fabrication
- Perform welding using various techniques to join metal parts securely
- Utilize hand tools, calipers, and measuring devices for precise machining and assembly
- Program CNC machinery for efficient production runs and modifications
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure adherence to standards
- Use forklifts and cranes safely for material handling and positioning of heavy components
- Assist in the assembly of metal structures or parts as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety protocols





Requirements

- Proven experience with CNC programming, CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, welding, machining, or related manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with mechanical tools such as calipers, hand tools, and measurement devices
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to crane operation, forklift handling, and machine operation
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations in fabrication tasks
- Mechanical knowledge with experience operating press brake machines, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality inspection standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
