Office & Operations Coordinator – Part-Time to Full-Time

Adagio Valet is looking for an energetic, qualified, organized, and highly motivated Office & Operations Coordinator to join our growing team.

This position will begin as part-time, approximately 21 hours per week, with the opportunity to gradually transition into a full-time position with increased responsibilities.

Compensation

$18.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the company’s recruitment and hiring process
- Review applications and resumes and coordinate candidate interviews
- Conduct in-person and phone interviews
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and staff training
- Support employee scheduling and staffing coordination
- Assist with payroll preparation and administration as responsibilities increase
- Maintain employee and hiring records
- Communicate professionally with employees, applicants, clients, and management
- Visit our permanent placement sites to ensure staff are following company standards and procedures
- Conduct site inspections and report operational or staffing concerns to management
- Ensure our team maintains high standards of professionalism, customer service, and presentation
- Assist with sales, client communication, and business development activities when required
- Provide leadership and support to staff in the field

Qualifications & Skills

- Must be fluent in English
- Previous experience in HR is preferred, particularly hiring, staff training, and employee coordination
- Previous experience in office administration, recruitment, sales, customer service, or management




- Hospitality industry experience is a strong asset
- Experience in hotels, restaurants, events, valet services, catering, or other hospitality environments is highly beneficial
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Energetic, confident, friendly, and professional personality
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable conducting interviews and working with different types of people
- Professional appearance and solid communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable visiting different work sites
- Own vehicle is preferred due to regular site visits
- Previous experience with payroll and staff scheduling is an asset

The ideal candidate is professional, confident, energetic, organized, friendly, and comfortable taking a leadership role.

A background in hospitality, sales, recruitment, HR, or customer service would be highly beneficial.

You should be someone who can represent the company professionally when speaking with candidates, employees, clients, and site partners. You must also be comfortable visiting our permanent locations, speaking with staff, identifying issues, and ensuring our service standards are consistently maintained.

As the role develops, responsibilities will include:

Work Location & Schedule

This is an in-person position at:

99 Brisbane Road, Toronto, ON

The initial schedule will be approximately 21 hours per week.

As the position transitions to full-time, the schedule will include:

Office hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

In addition to regular office hours, the position will require site visits during evenings and weekends as needed.

The ideal candidate must have a very flexible and open schedule and be available to work different days and times when operational needs require it.
