About Palm Bites

Palm Bites is a growing food manufacturing and retail company specializing in premium chocolate-covered dates, chocolate bars, date spreads, roasted nuts, brownies, and other specialty food products. We are looking for a reliable and organized Warehouse & Order Fulfillment Associate to support our growing warehouse, e-commerce, and retail operations.

Position Summary

The Warehouse & Order Fulfillment Associate will be responsible for picking, packing, and fulfilling online customer orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing warehouse materials and finished products, and supporting day-to-day warehouse operations.

This position also involves assisting customers who visit our store, coordinating inventory requirements with the Operations Manager, and ensuring that raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods are properly tracked and available when needed.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, physically capable, comfortable working with computers and Excel, and has strong communication and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment & E-Commerce

- Pick, pack, and prepare online customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Verify products, quantities, shipping information, and order details before dispatch.
- Prepare orders for courier pickup and shipping.
- Ensure products are packed safely and appropriately to maintain product quality.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and order-related issues when required.

Warehouse Operations

- Receive, organize, label, and store raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Properly arrange inventory to maximize available storage space.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments.
- Move products and materials within the warehouse as required.
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and workplace safety procedures.




- Operate a forklift or other material-handling equipment when required and authorized.

Inventory Management

- Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile physical inventory with Excel/system records.
- Update inventory records on a timely basis.
- Prepare and maintain weekly inventory reports.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages, excess inventory, damaged products, or discrepancies.
- Communicate inventory shortages and upcoming requirements to the Operations Manager.
- Assist with identifying purchasing requirements for raw materials, packaging, and other warehouse supplies.
- Support inventory planning to ensure sufficient stock is available for production and customer orders.

Customer Service & Store Support

- Assist customers visiting the Palm Bites store with product selection and purchases.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Answer basic product and availability questions.
- Help maintain an organized and presentable retail/store area.
- Support store operations during busy periods when required.

Administrative & Computer Responsibilities

- Maintain inventory records using Excel and other company systems.
- Enter and update inventory information accurately and on time.
- Prepare weekly inventory updates and reports.
- Communicate inventory concerns and operational requirements to the Operations Manager.
- Maintain accurate records of receiving, transfers, shipments, and inventory adjustments.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Previous experience in warehouse, order fulfillment, inventory, logistics,



or retail operations is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Comfortable using computers and learning inventory/order management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically able to lift, move, pack, and handle products and materials throughout the workday.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks as required.
- Forklift experience/certification is an asset.
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or food warehouse environment is an asset.
- Must be willing to follow all company health, safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures.
