Job Description:

We are looking for a dependable and experienced Local Class 1 Truck Driver based in the Lower Mainland. This role primarily involves daily local freight pickup and delivery throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley, with occasional regional runs into the Okanagan. Operating Monday to Friday, this position offers consistent weekday hours, reliable home time, and steady year-round work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial vehicles on local metro routes, industrial yards, and occasional regional highway corridors.
- Perform thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with NSC regulations.
- Maintain consistent communication with dispatch regarding delivery timelines, load updates, and yard logistics.
- Maintain accurate trip, inspection, and hours-of-service records using ELD systems.
- Ensure all freight is properly secured, verified, and delivered safely and on time.
- Represent Reimer Bros. Trucking with a professional,



customer-focused attitude at all customer and receiver docks.

Requirements:

- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license with clean/acceptable abstract (air brake endorsement required)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience (Lower Mainland metro/regional driving experience preferred)
- Familiarity with Lower Mainland routes, commercial truck corridors, and industrial facilities
- Comfortable with occasional mountain highway driving (Okanagan corridor)
- Self-motivated, punctual, safety-focused, and professional
