Description

The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach Winter 2027 OBHR 621 LEC 01 (Advanced Leadership). Classes for Winter 2027 block week run from January 4 to January 8. Registrar Scheduled Exams will take place between April 16 to April 27, 2027, if applicable.

OBHR 621 (Advanced Leadership)
LEC 01 Mon - Fri 8:30am - 5:30pm (Block Week: Mon. January 4 - Fri. January 8)

The calendar description of the course:
"Examines leadership theories relevant to advanced leadership (e.g., ethical leadership, humble leadership, charismatic leadership). Delves into concepts that leaders must consider when making decisions and implementing strategy (e.g., power, influence, change-management)."

Qualifications

- PhD in the field (organizational psychology, organizational behaviour) is required.
- Applicant is required to be active and experienced in the leadership development space.
- Previous experience teaching graduate level courses in the field is essential.
