The mission of Egg Farmers of Ontario (EFO) is to provide consumers with a supply of secure, high-quality eggs at a fair price and a return to egg and pullet farmers achieved through fair farm pricing, within a stable national supply management system. This is accomplished through the efficient management of the production of eggs, research, product promotion and ongoing marketing activities.

Egg Farmers of Ontario currently has an prospect for an On-Farm Programs Coordinator to join the Operations team.

General Overview:

The primary focus of the On-Farm Programs Coordinator is to support the implementation of on-farm programs delivered or adopted by Egg Farmers of Ontario (EFO), implement processes and tracking mechanisms and support the Operations department’s continuous improvement efforts.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop and track key performance indicators - Analyze and interpret data, identify trends, proactively develop action plans and implement as directed.
- Maintain internal documentation. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to document internal processes.
- Develop guidance documents to standardize and support delivery of on-farm programs.
- Assist with the development and implementation of new policies, requirements or regulations. This includes producer and staff training.
- Draft communication materials, letters and other documents for manager’s approval.
- Participate in/lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide vacation coverage for office and field staff, as required.
- Perform other duties, special projects or assignments as requested by Manager.

Competencies and Qualifications:

- Post Secondary education in a business or agriculture-related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in program development, implementation and continuous improvement - Six Sigma certification is an asset.




- Ability to drive throughout Ontario through all weather conditions. A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are mandatory.
- Advanced analytical skills, with experience collecting, organizing, and disseminating abundant information accurately. Proficiency in dataset analytics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to write reports and present information in a concise and organized manner.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a track record of producing results.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet stringent timelines.
- Strong team player, with exceptional collaboration, and diplomacy skills to develop creative and innovative ways to improve the industry.
- A highly motivated individual who has the ability to work independently.
- Skilled in using the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in a poultry/agriculture role is an asset.
- Bilingual in English and French would be considered an asset.
