SK Confectionery is an eggless bakery located in the heart of Brampton.

We are looking for a creative cake designer who already has experience running a home bakery and/or has worked 1-2 years in a commercial bakery setting. Specifically someone that is skilled in the art of vintage piped cakes, smooth finishes, floral designs, and buttercream/fondant work.

Responsibilities:
- Decorate cakes according to customer requests, ensuring high quality and visually appealing designs.
- Prepare cupcakes, cookies, pastries, brownies & other products for the front cooler.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Package finished cakes for display or delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with cake selection and answering any questions they may have.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders.

Skills:
- Proficient in cake decorating techniques, including piping, buttercream designs, fondant work, and creating intricate designs.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to follow proper hygiene protocols.




- Experience working in a kitchen or food preparation environment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate execution of cake designs.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a quick-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with customers effectively.
- Basic cooking and baking skills to prepare cake batters, fillings, and frostings.

Note: Prior experience in running a successful home bakery business and/or working in a commercial bakery is required. We will provide further training as required to fulfill your job requirements.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 35.0 per week
