Experienced Class 1 Heavy Haul Driver Wanted

We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and safety-focused Class 1 Heavy Haul Driver to join our team. If you take pride in your equipment, work well under pressure, and enjoy being part of a professional team, we want to hear from you.

Minimum Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable Class 1 driving experience.
- Must be proficient operating an 18-speed manual transmission.
- Heavy haul experience is required.
- Experience hauling oversize and overweight loads.
- Experience with jeeps, boosters, and multi-axle combinations is considered a strong asset.
- Experience driving on mountain roads, highways, and cross-border routes.
- Thorough knowledge of driver logbooks and Hours of Service regulations.
- Knowledge of load securement and cargo safety requirements.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot problems and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.




- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain equipment to a high standard.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
- Must be a reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
- Valid passport and ability to cross the Canada/U.S. border is considered an asset.
- TDG, FAST Card, and other industry certifications are considered assets.

This is a seasonal position for a gold mine located in Northern Yukon. After The season is over, there my be opportunities to haul loads from different locations in Canada and the USA.
