We are seeking a reliable and experienced Shipper/Receiver with Forklift experience to join our client’s team in Delta, BC. We are looking for a motivated, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented individual with strong forklift, shipping and receiving, and LTL freight experience.

This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career with potential for advancement.

Shift: Monday – Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Shift times may fluctuate depending on operational requirements and leadership responsibilities.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Shipper/Receiver to support daily warehouse and distribution operations. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience operating a Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift, loading and unloading LTL trailers, and working with frozen and refrigerated food products.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong warehouse experience and leadership potential. The right candidate may have the opportunity to transition into a permanent position and progress toward a Supervisor role based on performance, leadership skills, and ability to learn and follow company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload LTL trailers and organize freight within the warehouse.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
- Prepare and stage outbound shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Safely move, stack, and organize pallets and freight.
- Complete shipping and receiving documentation accurately.
- Work with frozen and refrigerated food products while following proper handling procedures.
- Maintain organized and efficient staging and storage areas.




- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment or safety concerns.
- Support inventory accuracy through proper scanning, documentation, and freight verification.
- Work closely with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors to maintain smooth daily operations.
- Assist with training or coordinating team members as required.
- Take on additional responsibilities as opportunities for leadership development arise.

Qualifications

- Valid forklift certification is required.
- Previous experience operating a Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift.
- Previous experience with LTL freight loading and unloading is required.
- Experience working with frozen and refrigerated food products is an asset.
- Previous leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience is an asset.
- Strong shipping and receiving experience.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of performing warehouse duties and lifting as required.
- Reliable attendance and a strong safety-focused approach.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Employees who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, leadership abilities, and the ability to learn and follow company procedures may have the opportunity to advance into a Supervisor position.

The shift schedule may also have some flexibility for a candidate who demonstrates the potential to take on additional leadership responsibilities.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
