NSB Omega is currently seeking experienced Designers to support offshore projects and engineering activities.

- Must Currently reside in Canada & be willing to relocate to ST. John's, NL.

We are looking for experienced design professionals with 5+ years of offshore experience across a variety of disciplines. This is an open opportunity for designers with backgrounds in areas such as Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls, Structural, Civil, or other relevant engineering design disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain engineering and design deliverables for offshore projects.

- Produce and update drawings, layouts, models, and technical documentation.

- Interpret engineering specifications, project requirements, and applicable codes and standards.

- Coordinate with engineers, other design disciplines, project teams, and offshore personnel.

- Review existing drawings and documentation and incorporate field changes as required.

- Support design reviews, constructability reviews, and technical queries.

- Ensure design work meets project specifications, quality requirements, and applicable industry standards.





- Participate in offshore surveys, site visits, or field activities as required.

Qualifications & Experience

- 5+ years of relevant design experience, preferably within the offshore oil & gas or energy industry.

- Experience working on offshore facilities, platforms, vessels, FPSOs, or related offshore projects.

- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards.

- Proficiency with relevant design software and tools.

- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.

- Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Experience with offshore field work or offshore rotations is considered an asset.

- Relevant technical diploma, degree, or equivalent industry experience.
