Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Production Supervisor – Millwork to lead daily manufacturing operations in a busy production environment.

Reporting to the Mill Manager, the Production Supervisor will oversee production activities, coordinate employees, implement production schedules, monitor quality and productivity, and ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to customer and production requirements.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong millwork/manufacturing experience and the ability to motivate employees, solve production issues, manage workflow, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Production Operations

- Oversee daily production operations and ensure efficient workflow throughout the department.
- Implement production schedules and coordinate resources to meet daily and weekly production targets.
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule employees involved in assembling, fabricating, painting, finishing, inspecting, and related production activities.
- Monitor production progress and adjust workflow as necessary to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
- Ensure productive use of labour, materials, equipment, and production resources.
- Monitor departmental productivity and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify production delays, bottlenecks, and process issues and take appropriate corrective action.




- Resolve production and workflow problems within the scope of the position and escalate complex issues to management when required.
- Prepare and maintain production progress reports and other operational documentation.
- Monitor material requirements and coordinate the availability and receiving of materials needed for production.
- Assist with projects and other production-related initiatives as required
- Experience
- 5+ years of production experience in millwork, woodworking, doors, assembly, painting/finishing, manufacturing, or a related environment.
- 2+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory capacity.
- Previous experience supervising employees is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in millwork, carpentry, construction, trim, finishing, painting, or manufacturing is an asset.
- Experience working with production schedules, quality standards, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with CNC machinery, forklifts, pallet trucks, or other production equipment is an asset.

Pay: $60,000.00-$750,000.00 per year
