Duties

- Prepare a variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and specialty items with precision and flair
- Lead bakery operations by managing daily production schedules and ensuring timely delivery of products
- Oversee cake decorating projects, creating visually appealing designs for special occasions
- Maintain high standards of food handling, safety, and sanitation in compliance with health regulations
- Supervise and mentor bakery staff, fostering teamwork and skill development in food preparation and baking techniques
- Ensure proper packaging of baked goods for retail display or customer orders to preserve freshness and presentation




- Provide excellent customer service by offering product recommendations and answering questions about ingredients or baking methods

Requirements

- Proven experience as a baker or bakery lead within the food industry, with a strong background in baking and food preparation
- Skilled in cake decorating, food handling, and kitchen safety protocols
- Experience working in a restaurant or quick-paced food environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team of bakery staff
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members

Pay: $17.60-$28.73 per hour
