Personal Care Attendant – In-Home Care

A disabled woman in Nolalu, Ontario is looking for a reliable and compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to provide in-home personal care and daily living support.

This position is funded through the Direct Funding Program, which allows the employer to hire and manage their own attendants. The successful candidate will work directly for the employer and provide individualized support in her home.

Duties

- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Medication reminders
- Support with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Assist with mobility and transfer techniques to ensure client safety during movement
- Assistance with grocery shopping and errands

Schedule

- 10–20 hours per week
- Morning and bedtime shifts
- Some afternoon shifts




- Flexible scheduling may be possible

Requirements

- PSW certification is not required — training will be provided
- Valid driver's licence
- Reliable transportation to Nolalu
- Criminal record check required
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
- Respectful, compassionate, and patient
- Able to work independently and follow directions
